What do I do if fastProjectAI crashes after installing or crashes randomly?

If you have the correct version of fastProjectAI for your version Microsoft Project (32-bit/64-bit), and you have all the latest updates of Microsoft Project, then it's quite possible fastProjectAI has got corrupted. This primarily happens with Microsoft Project 2013.

To fix this problem:

  1. Navigate to c:\Program Files\fastProjectAI (or for 64-bit Windows c:\Program Files (x86)\fastProjectAI)

  2. Double click on the file Global.mpt

  3. A number of messages will appear. Ignore them by simply clicking OK, etc.

  4. When the messages stop, exit Microsoft Project

  5. Start fastProjectAI again

fastProjectAI should now open and register correctly.
